Vardey Recruitment are delighted to be working in partnership with an international company near Ringwood, Hampshire who are recruiting an Accounts Assistant. The Accounts Assistant will report to the Financial Controller and work in a friendly and professional team of 3. The business is well established and growing and has offices overseas and is a fun and exciting company to work for!

Role

Working closely with the Financial Controller and the Management Accountant you will support the UK accounts function with a range of transactional accountancy duties, and as the role develops you will gain further experience in supporting the management accounting process. Duties will be varied and range from processing purchase ledger invoices, dealing with supplier queries and processing of the payment runs. You will also raise sales ledger invoices and perform daily bank reconciliations and support the month end process. As, the team is small and close knit you will gain overall experience in most aspects of running an accountancy function.

The ideal candidate

The job will suit someone with some good accounts experience either in purchase/sales ledger looking to take the next career step OR a graduate with an accountancy related degree or maybe someone studying their AAT with all round account experience.
