We have an amazing opportunity for an Assistant Management Accountant/Finance Analyst to join the team. This large and market leading organisation in Weymouth, Dorset are seeking a part-qualified accountant who is looking for a clear career path as well as study support and training, whilst working in a fun and hybrid working environment!

The role:

Working in the central finance team your role will be to provide accurate and timely financial information, to ensure the relevant business partners are well informed to allow decisions to me made.  You will support the senior financial analyst on regular month end duties, challenging and re evaluating processes to improve efficiencies and accuracies. 

Duties are varied and include:

• Supporting the management accounting pack to include cost reporting and variances analysis
• Accruals, prepayments, and cost allocations
• Preparing budgets and forecasts
• Reviewing and developing best practice processes with finance for accurate, timely transactional level posting to minimise rework at period end
• Month end reporting to include balance sheet reconciliations
• Balance sheet review to include commentary

The role will suit:

• This role will interest a Part-Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent or AAT qualified or actively studying) who has superb communication skills and can bring the “numbers” to life for non-finance individuals. 
• A numerate individual with a background in financial and/or management accounting who enjoys working to deadlines and pays great attention to detail with a strong commercial outlook.
• A Part-Qualified/ studier from practice who is looking to make a move into industry will also be considered.
• Strong Excel skills are a must.
