The Financial Planning & Analysis Manager will be part of the finance leadership team working closely with senior management.  A fantastic time to join this forward thinking and welcoming company, based near Christchurch in Dorset.

Role
  • The role of the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager (FP&A Manager) will be responsible for driving group planning and reporting activities and to deliver insight driven performance analysis.
  • Working closely as part of the senior finance team, the FP&A Manager will be responsible for the long term financial plans across the companies groups, performing analysis, scenarios and "what if" tests.
  • The role will include producing up to date forecasts to include cashflow and provide insightful profitability analysis, to support the business decisions. 
  • A key part of this FP&A job will be to analyse sales profitability and produce pricing models as well as looking at spend profitability and analysis.
  • Working hand in hand with the FD you will also analyse costs and revenues to drive increased income streams, to enable more efficient use of spend.
  • An essential part of the FP&A job is to monitor competitor results and produce key financial metrics/dashboard to support decision making. 
  • A pivotal part of the job is to develop strategic financial modelling to evaluate possible new business opportunities.   
  • You will have full ownership of this role and as this job is newly created you will be able to make it your own.
  • The FP&A Manager will be a key member of the Finance leadership team and this role will contribute significantly to the future growth and development of the business.

Requirements
  • A fully qualified accountant ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working as an FP&A Analyst/Manager.
  • Experienced in producing sales, profitability and pricing analysis.
  • Highly numerate with the ability to interpret the figures. 
  • An analyst who enjoys improving processes and is highly systems orientated.
  • Advanced Excel with strong financial modelling and long-term forecasting experience.
  • A self-starter with superb communication skills, with the ability to work in a multi-site organisation.
  • A strong commercial business sense, pro-active and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • An analyst who can add instant value, and work within a fast paced ambitious organisation.
