A vibrant and market leading retailer in West Dorset are recruiting for a Tax Analyst (Trainee) to join the close-knit team. The role:

As the Tax Analyst your job purpose will be to assist in preparing, filling and payment of all group tax returns as well as assisting in compliance for corporate TAX, VAT, transfer pricing and reporting country by country.  You will also assist in ensuring that the general statutory compliance requirements of the group in relation to all taxation matters, including balance sheet control accounts.  A key element of this role is to collate data and prepare analyses for the completion of the groups tax computations.  You will work within the team supporting on ad hoc project work as and when required.

The role will suit:

This role could interest a Graduate looking for their first accountancy/tax role or a part-qualified/AATQ accountant or a Part-Qualified Accounts Clerk (ATT/CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent) keen to move into Tax.  A numerate individual who enjoys working to deadlines and pays great attention to detail. Intermediate Excel skills and strong communication skills are a must. If you have worked in a Tax role previously this is a clear advantage.
