The role:

Working in the Commercial Finance team your role will be to support the business as a finance business partner/financial analyst and provide accurate and timely financial information, highlighting risks and opportunities within approved budgets and identifying recommendations. As the Financial Analyst (Management Accountant) you will prepare quarterly forecasts and business cases for project funding and lead monthly project finance reviews working with the Project Managers monitoring any over/underspends to forecast and highlight future risks. The Management Accountant/ Financial Analyst will monitor the projects v’s budget controlling costs and highlighting any concerns. Part of the job will be to support the month end process as well as perform balance sheet reconciliations. You will also support and help develop financial models to aid decision making. You will work within a lively and capable team supporting queries and ad hoc project work as and when required.

The role could interest:

Ideally a Part-Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent) or a Qualified seeking to reduce hours to part-time? Or an accountant qualified by experience could also be interested. A commercial person (accountant/analyst) who has superb communication skills and can bring the “numbers” to life for non-finance individuals, working as a business partner. A numerate individual with a background in financial/management accounting with strong business acumen. A Part-Qualified/ studier from practice who is looking to make a move into industry could also be interested! We are also keen to hear from Graduates with some accounts experience who could be supported and trained. Strong Excel skills are a must.
