Andover - Hampshire | £50,000-£60,000 + bonus (salary negotiable) + profit share

Vardey Recruitment is delighted to be working in an exclusive partnership with an entrepreneurial fast paced supply and manufacturing SME business in the Andover, Hampshire region.  This newly created commercial management accountant job will be responsible for providing the business with confidence that all financial and operating reporting supports proactive decision making.  This commercial finance job is a fantastic role to include reporting, kpi analysis, cashflow forecasting and driving forward business critical project work, acting as the Financial Director’s no.2

Commercial Finance job highlights:
  • To control & manage budgeting and forecasting process
  • KPI analysis driving business activity
  • To accurately capture on a timely basis key business performance indicators
  • Highlighting trends, concerns, and plans to mitigate or exploit risks
  • Building proactive relationships with key manager in the business to understand their activities to capture true KPI’s
  • Cashflow forecasting
  • Business projects
  • Undertake deep dives into business activities
  • Investigate and present findings and recommendations
  • Attending board meetings
  • Supporting Finance Manager to close monthly management accounts
  • To ensure the completeness, accuracy and timely reporting covering the profit & loss, balance sheet and cashflow
  • To enhance the use of company’s reporting software
Commercial Finance job may interest:
  • Ideally a commercial management accountant
  • A financial leader with a strong commercial flair
  • A fully qualified accountant or proven relevant experience in financial reporting and commercial finance / financial controller, finance manager, management accountant
  • ACA, ACCA,CIMA or equivalent
  • A finance business partner able to drive change
  • An individual able to “make it happen”
  • Able to support management in decision making
  • Great attention to detail
